YPG Type U Adjustable Snap Gages

The blades of the type ‘U’ make its primary use that of gauging the lower diameter of external grooves.  Having only two adjustable anvils, the Go / No Go setting procedure is quick and straightforward.  The blades are supplied with a standard thickness and depth, both of which can be modified by YPG to meet specific customer application requirements.  Radius and chamfer changes can also be modified on request.  In addition the ‘U’ type is very readily used as a more robust replacement for the “Reef” type gage.

Standard Blade Dimensions: ‘W’ 0.100” – ‘D’ 0.200”
